Thailand's switched from paper arrival forms to a digital system that's meant to speed things up considerably; you'll now pre-register online before you arrive, which should get you through immigration in under three minutes rather than queuing about with forms. You'll want to complete the registration before you travel, as that's where the real time-saving happens; the actual processing at the border is remarkably quick once you've done your bit online.
