Must-Have Apps for Thailand Travel

Been doing heaps of research on this and there's definately some essentials worth grabbing before you go, so I installed Grab which is basically their Uber but honestly way cheaper and the drivers know the streets better than Google Maps does, then theres Wongnai for finding actual good local restaurants cause the ones on Trip Advisor are tourist traps... Wise or XE for currency conversion cause the ATM rates are dodgy and you dont want to get stung, plus Maps.me works offline which saved my bacon when the data dropped in Chiang Mai. Line is what locals use there for messaging not WhatsApp so download that or you'll be texting into the void, Line Pay is handy too for small transactions... Google Translate camera feature is a lifesaver for menus and signs.
